Synopsis
Howard is an elderly former fighter pilot bound to a wheelchair. In an attempt to recreate the thrill of soaring through the he air, Howard decides to zoom down the side of Mount Washington on his wheelchair. His daredevil attempts are repeatedly foiled by his daughter Mildred who eventually locks him in his room out of frustration. Howard manages to escape and Mildred chases him up the mountain as he makes one last mad-dash attempt to go down. Just as Howard reaches the top, he suffers a heart attack and collapses. Mildred tries to wake her father but he doesn’t respond. As Mildred begins to cry, Howard suddenly springs to life and handcuffs himself to Mildred. He yanks his confused daughter onto his lap and sends them both flying down the mountain. Horrified yet exhilarated, Mildred smiles and clutches her father’s hand on the way down.
