Out Of True
USA 28 min.
Amber Dvorsky lives with her mother in a small, Upstate New York community. By day she trolls baby stores, bonding with local expectant mothers. By night she plots her escape, and the life of her own she has long been designing. When Amber’s path drunkenly collides with Craig at a local pub, a one night stand spirals into an unhealthy obsession. A meditation on identity, and alienation within an insular community, Babyland presents a captivating snapshot of one town’s reality, and the fragility of its delicate facades.
