The Eyes of Me

Henry Kissinger said, “Corrupt politicians ruin it for the other ten percent.” Mr. Schneider thinks ten percent is optimistic. A former director of reality TV shows, Schneider, disgusted by “politics as usual,” goes to Washington and discovers that things are worse than he imagined.
As former Senator Fritz Hollings says, “The main cancer on the body politic is money. Money, money, money.” Did you know that nine out of ten candidates who spend more than their opponents win their races? No wonder they care more about raising money than serving the public interest. Amazingly, Mr. Schneider has made a film about corruption and apathy that is informative, entertaining, and enraging.
