A film documentary about the Quilombola communities from Sambaquim and Riachão do Sambaquim, which are located in the rural area of the Pernambucoãs district Panelas, in Brazil. The families of Sambaquim are descendants of the black population from the legendary quilombo of Palmares. In 2005 they raised money to hire a bus, in order to make the trip of their dreams—to the hitherto unseen ocean!
