Synopsis
Philanthropist and filmmaker Charles Annenberg Weingarten and the “Explore” team set out on a fact-finding mission to the Pacific Northwest to research orcas. These beautiful creatures, commonly referred to as “killer whales,” are considered a threatened species in the world’s oceans by some local communities. Through interviews and breathtaking images of orcas in their natural habitat, the film creates a greater awareness of these majestic creatures.
