Synopsis

Little Houses is about the burial customs of a small Louisiana community. In Mermentau Cove, Louisiana – Acadian settlers buried their dead in small wooden houses. Today, only three of those houses remain. Little Houses follows the effort to nominate the houses to the National Register of Historic Places, and offers a small glimpse of life in the small Cajun community through interviews with locals connected to the cemetery.
