Synopsis

In July 2004, a young gay man named Scotty Joe Weaver was brutally murdered by his roommate and best friend in rural Alabama. Sepulte “The Buried” is an experimental, meditative, and spiritual investigation into the crime — exploring the root of violence against gay men. The Director of the World Film Festival of Montreal said: “…powerful with a sense of atmosphere rarely found in short films.”
